Tin Cons Live! Tin Constellations squeeze into a small venue, get the audience singing and steal some hearts:
“Blending folk and pop, Ottawa's Tin Constellations come at music with a penchant for earworm melodies and thoughtful narrative lyrics. This combination has them living in a utopian musical landscape in which Van Dyke Parks left LA for a quiet life in the Appalachians, where he turned to writing murder ballads and songs about birds and ornithology. Flock to see them now!” - Tom O'Connor, The Sound Affect Podcast

EP Release: January 10, 2026

Tin Constellations have been busy recording “Cobden”, a murder ballad EP set for release January 10th, 2026 at the Gladstone Theatre, Ottawa. Cobden features an orchestral sound courtesy of Sally Robertson's cello and James Leahy's accordion arrangements.
The country is at war and while her love serves overseas, our heroine Maria is relentlessly pursued by another. In a time of turmoil at home and abroad, she is alone but not weak. A gunshot rings out in a world of midnight ramblings and scorched earth correspondence, while a Cooper’s Hawk weighs right from wrong and The Diviner trades gun
for divining rod.
Cobden is an orchestral-folk concept record by TIN CONSELLATIONS featuring soaring anthems, contemplative narrative lyrics and lush instrumentation. The album was produced with love and care by Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn Studios in Ottawa, ON.
